On the afternoon of March 28, 2025, the Hue City Department of Construction, in collaboration with the Hue Institute for Development Studies and Harmony Advanced Technologies Co., Ltd., successfully organized a training workshop on Building Information Modeling (BIM). The event was held for officials, technical staff, and workers involved in construction, transportation infrastructure, and public works management. More than just a knowledge-sharing session, the workshop served as a platform to strengthen cooperation and foster experience exchange among participants.

The event welcomed the participation of Mr. Huynh Minh Khang, Deputy Director of the Hue City Department of Construction; Ms. Nguyen Quynh Lien, General Director of Harmony Advanced Technologies Co., Ltd.; and representatives from various government agencies, departments, and construction-related businesses in Hue. The presence of industry leaders and experts created an engaging and insightful atmosphere, highlighting the strong commitment to implementing BIM in local construction practices.

The workshop program was thoughtfully designed with comprehensive content, covering key topics such as: guidance on using popular BIM tools in construction workflows; procedures for model checking during project appraisal and quality evaluation; and best practices for BIM model quality control to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout all project phases. Both theoretical lectures and hands-on sessions enabled participants to deepen their understanding of practical BIM applications, ultimately enhancing their technical and professional capabilities.

Held in an open and friendly environment, the workshop facilitated dynamic idea exchange, sharing of real-world experiences, and discussions on effective BIM implementation methods. It also provided an excellent networking opportunity for businesses and public sector units in the construction industry to explore new technology trends and discover optimal solutions for challenges in construction and project management.
